SOFT YOGA AT SALIG

Soft Yoga is designed to help you in to a present state of mind, raise the level of energy flow and activate your body’s ability to self-heal. 

Simple soothing yoga sequences in perfectly symbiosis with your breath, will invite you to let go of all thoughts and just drift into the embodiment of the movement. Allow yourself to dive into a meditative state through the calm flows. Body and mind will melt together and your presence in the here and now is paramount. 

During a soft yoga session all muscle groups will be in play and your body will experience gentle bends and twists, leaving you with a soft and energetic feeling of well-being in the whole body. Over time this practice will awaken and enrichen your body awareness, and your nervous systems ability to self-regulate will expand. 

There is a predominance of lying, sitting and kneeling positions, but you can also experience standing positions - always with a gentle approach. 

Rest is integrated in the final part with a few Yin-poses, melting into soft and gentle stretches held for 3-5 minutes. Incorporating principles of traditional Chinese medicine, with asanas (postures), we will boost different layers of the body, mind and soul. It is a slow-paced style and introverted practice, where we work with the body's energetic pathways. 

Each session ends with a long guided Savasana (relaxation), to let the benefits of the practice fully settle in the body.
